In the 8th Pancyprian Pharmaceutical Conference held in Nicosia Hilton Park Hotel the weekend 17 and November 18, Pharmabelle participated dynamically.

The conference was organized by the Pancyprian Pharmaceutical Association and was under the auspices of Cypriot Health Minister Konstantinos Ioannou.

The aim of the conference was to highlight issues related to the daily life of the pharmacy and the new needs created in the constantly changing social and economic environment.

With his scientific and advisory role, modern pharmacist is a key element of Primary Health Care. From simple pharmaceutical advice, advice on feminine care and the cold of the child to vaccination, the modern pharmacist plays a key role in the health system and the lives of citizens and patients.

In addition to the Conference's main scientific program, on the 18th of November, European Day Against the Misuse of Antibiotics, an open session was held for the public on "Abuse of Antibiotics and Microbial Resistance". Also, a lecture was held on the importance of probiotics in modern therapies, by Professor Evangelos Giamarellos, sponsor of which was Uni-Pharma & Pharmabelle.
