UNI-PHARMA & InterMed in cooperation with the UN High Commissioner for Refugees

The President and CEO of the pharmaceutical companies UNI-PHARMA & InterMed and President of the UN Global Compact Network Hellas Mrs. Julia Tsetis, met on Monday 28 February 2022 in her office, with the Representative of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees in Greece, Mrs. Maria Clara Martin, in order to discuss and activate actions for refugees.

In the aftermath of the dramatic events we are experiencing in recent days in Ukraine, action must be targeted, immediate and coordinated. The actions of UNI-PHARMA & InterMed with the relevant UN Services, such as the UNHCR, are immediate because when people are forcibly displaced from their homes and country due to conflict, the official institutions of social dialogue need to come together and assist with sustainable solutions for the benefit of the people.

The two ladies Maria Clara Martin and Julia Tseti, with their groups, exchanging views on the burning issues of the day on a pan-European scale, pledged to implement joint actions aimed at both helping the refugees and their smooth integration into society and the labor market. In this direction, the two sides are ready to cooperate with the competent Greek authorities, civil society organizations and the private sector.
