SALOSPIR Gastro-resistant Tablets (Acetylsalicylic Acid) 325mg

Indications:

For mild to moderate pain, such as headache, neuralgia, myalgia, arthralgia and generally

pain of non-bowel origin.

Generally, in feverish conditions.

In various inflammatory diseases, such as rheumatic fever, active rheumatic arthritis (juvenile and adult), osteoarthitis.

 

CONCENTRATIONS UP TO 325mg/dose ONLY

Prophylaxis of myocardial infarction recurrence.

Reduction of risks resulting from the recurrence of ischemic thrombotic stroke in men (in women the reduction of these risks has not been confirmed).

Prophylaxis after transient ischemic stroke.

Chronic unstable angina.

Prophylaxis of coronary thrombotic events in patients with multiple risk factors, such as hypertension (after the regulation of blood pressure), hyperlipidemia, diabetes mellitus and smoking.

Prophylaxis of thrombosis (prevention of recoagulation) after aortic-coronary (BYPASS) and artificial arteriovenous inoculation in patients under haemodialysis.

Prophylaxis of thrombosis after percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA).

 

Contra-Indications:

Known hypersensitivity to salicylates or in any of the excipients.

History of asthma.

Active gastroduodenal ulcer, history of peptic haemorrhage.

Last trimester of pregnancy.

 

Special warnings and precautions during administration:

Attention should be paid:

In patients with hepatic or renal insufficiency.

In small children and elderly.

In prescheduled surgeries the administration of Acetylsalicylic acid should be discontinued for at least one week before the surgery.

 

Adverse Reactions:

Gastrointestinal disorders, peptic ulcer
